Nusa Dua

Ayodya Resort Bali

A large beachfront resort with a private beach area near Nusa Dua Beach, two outdoor pools, nine restaurants and bars, family rooms and an all-inclusive option.

8.8/10 Fabulous — from 2,465 guest reviews, read 2026-10-26.

Calm, manicured resort beach at Nusa Dua, Bali, with palms and still water

Short answer

Ayodya Resort Bali rates 8.8 from 2,465 guests, with location and staff both at 9.4. The reviews Booking.com features, many from Australians, keep returning to the same two points: the grounds are huge, and there is enough on site that you need not leave. That is the case for it — nine places to eat, family rooms with real thought behind them, and an all-inclusive rate that caps the bill. Value for money is its lowest category bar Wi-Fi, at 8.7, so it is good rather than a bargain. Three things to know before booking. Extra beds for anyone 12 or over cost Rp 850,000 per person per night, so price a family or connecting room first. Guests under 18 can only check in with a parent or guardian. And, as at every Bali hotel, nobody checks in or out on Nyepi, the Day of Silence, usually in March.

What you actually get

On the beach, in the middle of the Nusa Dua enclave

Booking.com lists Ayodya as beachfront with a private beach area, near Nusa Dua Beach. Bali Collection, the enclave's shopping and dining centre, is 800 metres away and the Bali International Convention Centre 1.3 km. Guests rate the location 9.4 out of 10, the joint-highest of its scores.

Nine restaurants and bars

This is the resort's real differentiator. The line-up runs from Ganesha Ek Sanskriti (Indian) and Genji (Japanese and teppanyaki) to the Waterfall Indonesian and Balinese restaurant, the Ayodya Beach Club & Grill, a plant-based Vegan Deli and SOORA, a speakeasy-style cocktail bar. Most list halal, vegan and gluten-free options, and the buffet breakfast covers the same diets.

Set up for families

The Classic Family Room adds a sofa bed sized for children and a tipi tent; the Grande Connecting Room sleeps four or more. Beyond the two outdoor pools and pool bar there is a children's playground, a games room, mini-golf and beach volleyball, and cots are free for under-twos.

An all-inclusive option on most rooms

Almost every room type is also sold as an All Inclusive version, from the Classic Deluxe rooms up to the Suites Collection and Ayodya Palace, the resort's top tier with what it calls Royal Benefits. A spa with couples massage, a fitness centre, an airport shuttle and free parking round out the facilities, and Booking.com lists every unit as wheelchair accessible.

It suits

  • Families who want family rooms, a playground and free cots without leaving the resort
  • Travellers who want plenty of dining choice on site, including halal, vegan and gluten-free
  • Anyone who wants a fixed holiday cost — most rooms come in an all-inclusive version
  • First-time visitors who want a calm beach close to the airport

Who it's not for

  • Travellers who want to walk out to local warungs and bars — Nusa Dua is a gated resort enclave
  • Anyone after nightlife, which Nusa Dua barely has
  • Couples looking for an intimate, small-scale stay; guests describe the grounds as huge
  • Families relying on extra beds for teenagers, which are charged per person per night
