Happy New Year 2009! Well after a great New Year's celebration the party hats and noise makers have been put away for another year and Bali slowly returns to its usual idyllic pace. Beginning 5 January occupancies in Bali hotels will be lower (meaning there are great deals to be had) and the traffic less (meaning easier to get around and enjoy Bali's many attractions) making it a great time to visit Bali. That said, Chinese New Year is celebrated on 26-27Jan. and all of Asia will again be on holiday and hotels in Bali are already reporting very high occupancies.
